Welcome to Retro Football Shirts
We showcase the very best vintage football shirts currently available, covering all of the top domestic, European and International teams, as well as special player shirts.
These classic football shirts are timeless and as well as a memorial to the legends of the past, they are also extremely trendy. We have included some of the more popular retro football shirts below.
Tottenham Hotspur - The Double Winners 1961
Perhaps the most iconic of all retro football shirts, this is of course the Tottenham Double Winners shirt from 1961.
Winning the double for the first time that century was a remarkable achievement and was masterminded by the late great Bill Nicholson (1919-2004).
The Spurs team who did the double were as entertaining as they were successful and they set a new standard for all teams to aspire to since.
These classic football shirts are certainly ones to wear with pride, plus the fact that this early 60's shirt just looks really cool.
Liverpool - The European Cup Winners 1977
The 1977 European Cup Final took place between Liverpool F.C. and Borussia Mönchengladbach, at the Stadio Olimpico, in Rome, on May 25th.
Liverpool, under the management of Bob Paisley, won the match 3–1 to win their first ever European Cup. It followed on from their UEFA Cup the previous year.
Who can forget the smiling Emlyn Hughes lifting the cup aloft wearing this vintage football shirt. Now you too can wear this classic football shirt with pride.
Celtic - The European Cup Winners 1967
The 1967 European Cup Final was contested by Inter Milan and Celtic, at the Estádio Nacional in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 25th May.
Celtic won the game 2-1 and in doing so became the first British club to win the trophy, a year before Manchester United did so.
Managed by the legend that was Jock Stein, all the members of the team were born within 30 miles of Glasgow. They became known as the Lisbon Lions, because of their remarkable feat in the Portuguese capital.
Manchester Utd - The European Cup Winners 1968
Yes, it is blue. Not a colour you would normally associate with Manchester Utd and yet this is the one and only 1968 European Cup Winning shirt as worn by the likes of George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton and little Nobby Stiles.
The final of the 13th European Cup was played at Wembley Stadium, where United beat Benfica 4–1, in an epic game.
It was fitting perhaps that ten years after the Munich air disaster had robbed the Busby Babes of the chance to compete for that very same trophy, Manchester United became the first English 'Champions of Europe'.
There are many other great retro football shirts to choose from, so feel free to look around the site and pick up a memento from yesteryear!

Aberdeen Football Tops
However, it is these superb Aberdeen Football Tops from the 1930s that are our personal favourites.
As you can see, in the thirties Aberdeen played in Black and Gold, during the time when Willie Mills, their brilliant forward, was scoring the goals for the team.
These Aberdeen Football Tops, with their collars and buttons, are of course quite smart looking and so there is no excuse for not wearing your team’s colours on any occasion!

Tottenham Hotspur Retro Football Shirt
With a club like Spurs there are just so many great memories and so many iconic shirts that it is hard to pick out a particular favourite from the many different Tottenham retro shirts.
So perhaps it comes down to age when we singled out the infamous Holsten sponsored shirt of the Eighties, worn by amongst others the legend that is Glenn Hoddle.
This variant of the shirt is from the 1984 UEFA Cup Final, when Spurs defeated Anderlecht after a dramatic penalty shoot out, winning 4-3.
